Mission
_To usher the people into the presence of God
_facilitate the gathering of worship
_help prepare the hearts of the people to receive the Word of God through worship

At the start of Lion's Heart, we agreed that we would love the Bible, worship, and be missions minded. Conducting biblical worship was at the front of what we decided to do as a church, knowing that worship is all encompassing of our lives.

The Music Ministry is categorized into 3 parts: Worship Team, Choir and Tech.  There are 3 choirs starting with Pee-Wee (ages 4-7), Junior (ages 8-12), and the Main Choir (ages 12 and up). The worship team serves 3 general demographics: Children, Youth, and the Main congregation. The volunteers have ranged from pre-school students up to grandparents, but it is especially exciting to see our young people and young children serve God through their gifts and talents in music! Our future is bright and as we continue to grow, we hope to see worship become a way of life for all of LHCM, whether serving at home base in Chicago, or in the missions field around world.
