This is a contextual study of the Bible in its historical, geographical, cultural, and spiritual settings. This will empower the students to read their Bible with better understanding and enjoyment. The course prepares the student for further studies on hermeneutics, biblical exegesis, biblical backgrounds, rabbinic literature and the ancient near east.
